Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Local Shipping Policy
  1. Arabesque offers delivery for orders worth R100 or more only.
  2. Arabesque currently offers delivery throughout South Africa. 
  3. Delivery Fee = R115 for all orders under R 2 500 is charged.
  4. We offer free delivery for all orders that exceed R 2 500. 
  5. All items on our online store are items available at our Durbanville Store and are therefore dispatched for delivery from there.
  6. We unfortunately can not send to a PO Box, please provide us with a physical address where you can receive your ordered goods from our online store.
  7. Please note that your ordered items will only be sent for delivery once the amount paid has cleared in our bank account.
 
 

2. Shipping Company

     

  • All our local shipping and deliveries are handled by Courier Guy (an express courier service in South Africa)
  • Courier Guy will deliver your purchased item(s) to the address you provided on checkout. Upon delivery, they will therefore require a signature from the receiver to confirm that you have received your goods.
  • Note: they do not collect or deliver on weekends or public holidays.
  • Should you not be available when the courier attempts delivery they will attempt a second delivery on the same day. Should the second attempt also not be successful the parcel will be returned to our store in Durbanville and the client will be responsible for the cost of sending a second time.
  • Upon delivery of the goods, you must inspect the goods. If you have not received the entire order as detailed in the order confirmation email sent to you when an order is received, please contact us within 24 (twenty-four) hours.
 

3. Estimated Delivery Time

  • We always do our best to estimate precise delivery time for your convenience. For the most up-to-date delivery information, use the tracking information in your email confirmation to track your package online.
  • Please allow for approximately (7) seven working days for delivery unless otherwise stated.
 

4. Self- Collection

  • Self- Collection on items you ordered on our website is available.  No extra fee is charged for self-collection.

  • Collection Times: || Mon – Fri 10 Am to 5 PM || Sat 10 AM to 2 PM || Sundays Closed
 
5. Electronic Delivery
  • Online eGift Vouchers are delivered through email. The sender’s name and email address are included for the recipient.
 

6. Damages

  • ARABESQUE will not be held liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping after the goods have been sent by us to you via Courier.
  • If you received your ordered goods damaged, please report it within 24 (twenty-four) hours to: zelstrauss@gmail.com
 
7. Delayed Delivery
  • Arabesque will not be held responsible for any delays in receiving your goods which may occur after the goods have been sent by us to your chosen address via courier.
  • Delivery may be delayed due to high demand during the holiday season.
  • If you have not received your order within the communicated time, please let us know by sending us an email to zelstrauss@gmail.com Please note that claims not made in writing within this time frame shall be deemed to have been waived and shall lapse.

 

8. Track my Order

9. International Shipping Policy

    1. Arabesque currently does not ship outside of South Africa.
    2. Shipping outside of South Africa can be arranged only upon special request and discussion
    3. Email Zelmarie Strauss – zelstrauss@gmail.com for international shipping arrangement together with a list of products you would like and we’ll get back to you.
    4. Custom Taxes & Delays
      1. In the event of international shipping, ARABESQUE will not be responsible for any extra charges that might arise at the destination country due to custom, duties, etc.
      2. Arabesque will not be held liable for any delays in receiving your goods which may occur after the goods have been sent by us to your country via Courier.

Care Tips

  • * Remove your jewelry before you swim in chlorine or salt water.
  • * Remove your jewelry before participating in activities that will cause you to sweat a lot.
  • * Wait to put on your jewelry until after you have applied lotion, makeup or perfume.

  • * You may also soak it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth as needed (or a soft toothbrush to clean small cracks and crevices).
  • * If your jewelry is tarnished beyond what a good cleaning can remedy, all is not lost. You can breathe new life into your jewelry by having it re-plated, or you can plate or replate jewelry and other products with an 18 or 24k gold plating kit.
